The Sunflower Clinic
The Sunflower Clinic is a specialist clinic for women with female genital mutilation (FGM) at Queen Charlotte’s and Chelsea Hospital for both non-pregnant & pregnant women.
The FGM Clinic offer sessions face to face in our clinic or via Zoom/telephone. We offer up to 8 sessions and can refer on to other counselling services if required. It is free and completely confidential. We also have Arabic and Somali speaking interpreters available to support you if English is not your first language. Our Counsellor Alex Rogers is a UKCP registered counsellor and psychotherapist. She has been working privately for 20 years and has been working in our FGM clinic since 2016. She is a specialist in FGM and related issues.
