Dr Sekhon qualified from St Mary's Hospital Medical School in 2002. She completed a BSc in Healthcare Management at Tanaka Business School and worked in London and San Francisco. Her first house job was at North Middlesex Hospital followed by several years at Chelsea & Westminster Hospital, Charing Cross Hospital and Millbank Medical Centre. Other roles have included working for News International, the National Federation of Women's Institue, Westside Contraceptive Services and organising the Annual GP Forum at the Royal Society of Medicine. With an interest in International Healthcare, she has been fortunate to have experience working in Georgia, Canada, India and Japan, to understand their healthcare systems and develop Women’s Health in particular.
In 2007, she joined Hampton Hill Medical Centre and became the GP Lead in NHS Richmond for Sexual Health, Pathology and Commissioning. Her enthusiasm for general practice remains strong and she has interests in acupuncture, child health, joint injections, aesthetics, and medical writing. Education, innovation and patient care has been at the heart of her work. Since her PGCert in 2013 at Westminster Business School, she has been heavily involved training junior doctors on the West Middlesex VTS, physician associate students from St George’s and medical students from UCH, Kings, St George’s and Imperial College.

Dr Staples qualified from Imperial in 1999 and trained to be a GP locally at Hampton Hill Medical Centre with Dr Wright. Her interests include women's health and family planning as well as diabetes and mental health.

Dr Sillitoe trained in Sheffield & qualified in 1997. She then moved to work in London where she did her GP training. She settled at Cloister Road surgery in Acton for 16 years, she was senior partner for the last 5 years. Due to family relocation to Twickenham she was very pleased to become a new member of the lovely team at HHMC in June 2017. Her special interests are Diabetes and Lung disease.
She enjoys running (she has run the London marathon), reading, baking & most of all spending time with her family & dog.

Dr Malak graduated from the University of Southampton and completed core surgical training in the South East. After moving to the Oxford Deanery, he specialised in Orthopaedics to Registrar level before switching to General Practice.
He has an interest in musculoskeletal science and minor surgery holding the MRCS qualification. He is currently a DPhil student in the University of Oxford, undertaking a programme of epidemiological and statistical research in musculoskeletal science part-time. He has extensive experience in teaching having completed an MSc in Medical Education in University College London.
Our practice values involvement in the advanced training of GP Registrars for up to one year prior to their postgraduate qualification. Please accept them as a full member of the Team. Similarly, we provide placements for foundation doctors and senior medical students as a training practice.
The practice manager is involved in managing all of the business aspects of the practice such as making sure that the right systems are in place to provide a high quality of patient care, human resources, finance, patient safety, premises and equipment and information technology. The practice manager supports the GPs and other medical professionals with delivering patient services and also helps to develop extended services to enhance patient care.

Our support team provide an important link for patients with the practice and are your initial contact point for general enquiries. They can provide basic information on services and results and direct you to the right person depending on your health issue or query. The support team make most of the patient appointments with the GPs and nurses. They also perform other important tasks such as issuing repeat prescriptions and dealing with prescription enquiries, dealing with financial claims, dealing with patient records and carrying out searches and practice audits.

Healthcare assistants support practice nurses with their daily work and carry out tasks such as phlebotomy (drawing blood), blood pressure measurement and new patient checks. They may act as a chaperone when a patient or doctor requests one.

A health visitor is a registered nurse who has received training particularly related to babies, children and pregnant women. Their role is to provide families with children under five years old with support and advice around the general aspects of mental, physical and social wellbeing.
